Although our first priority is Camp Arroyo, we never forget all the other children we support throughout the year. In 1991, when our foundation was formed, we made a commitment to fund programs for children in Northern California suffering from HIV/AIDS. Nine years later, we remain even more committed and continue to fund social programs that are important to children with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses and their families.

Other programs funded by The Taylor Family Foundation:

Children's Hospital Oakland, Pediatric AIDS Program:

We have funded this program for thirteen years, adding staff support, case management personnel, hospice and nursing staff, social services, psychological support and equipment. In the summer months we fund a "Friday Fun Days!" field trip program, where children go to waterslides, parks and museums. We also assist with the annual holiday party for children and their families.

University of California, San Francisco, Pediatric AIDS Program:

We have funded this program and also provided the "Friday Fun Days!" summer outings program for these children, siblings and parents for the past four years. For some, these field trips are the only "vacation" these families experience.

Families First Foster Santa Program:

Over the past nine years, The Taylor Family Foundation has assisted with the purchase of over 1500 bicycles for this holiday party. Hundreds of foster children are surprised with a brand new bicycle, helmet and a lock from Santa!
